UX testing and feedback

Image
In today's class we started testing our websites. First of all we created a feedback form using google docs. we had to create number of questions that would help evaluate our webside. Next I embedded it into my website on the menu bar under Feedback. then we were asked to exchange websites so our class mates could evaluate them. This is the  responses I got back. In general, everyone was happy with my website, only my portfolio section scored less as it was yet to be updated.

Finalizing my major project and uploading it onto website.

I finished writing my short story called '' Light that never goes out" it is 1133 words long, a bit shorter than I was planing.  Using lucidpress I created a cover by using photo from unsplashed.  Then, I added a name of the short story and byline that indicates that its short story written by me. Next, I uploaded text separated into two pages. Finnaly i saved it as pdf file. Next thing I had to do is to make a flip book, to do that I went to www.yumpu.com and uploaded pdf file and finally my short story got  form of a flipbook.  Finnaly I embedded it into my website .  References: www.unsplashed.com www.lucidpress.com www.yumpu.com

Final draft

It was day seven.   She'd had lights on the whole night, wandering around an empty room in her pajamas.  "Why haven't you slept?" I asked, but she did not answer. Framed in white gold, she stood still, just a reach away across the murky street. I swore to myself that I could smell her hair, coconut oil with a gentle hint of biscuit. Knock on a door. Two young men were in front of me, cheeks red as meatballs. "We're here to fix the boiler," they declared in duet; I pointed at the bathroom, and so they went. As I came back to the window, the girl was gone.  I shivered. Moments later, both technicians were in my living room, "We have to order a new part." guy number one started. "It will take three to four days to come." the second man ended. As his eyes passed through my kitchen, a grim smile appeared on his face - I guess you will have to use a kettle for a little while, he added. She was still gone. "Okay, thank you." I nod
