I will break down Coolio‘s ‘Gangsta’s Paradise’  lyrics into five different aspects; structure, form, metre, rhyme and meaning. I will analyse each aspect of the lyrics and explain how they work individually and together. Im going to start with introducing form and then structure. Later I will move to metre and rhyme and analyse how they work with the structure and form. Last, I will analyse meaning and how it’s influenced by every other aspect of the lyrics of ‘Gangsta’s Paradise’, that is – structure, form, metre and rhyme.

Development of my project

With the deadline just around the corner I finished drafting and ready to submit the project I was carrying out throughout the media 2 module. While redrafting for the last time, I aimed to get rid of unnecessary words and sentences in order to control the tone throughout my work.
